Natasha Emery focused her kōrero on her and her late brother’s childhood and adolescence. This included their relationships with parent figures, as well as their experiences in State care. Natasha also spoke about how the impacts of these experiences shaped her and her brother’s lives, and the resulting intergenerational effects of trauma on their own whānau, including Natasha’s late son.
