At the time of the hearing Debbie Power was the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Social Development. She previously held many senior roles within MSD, including Deputy Chief Executive; Service Delivery, Deputy Chief Executive; Office of the Chief Executive, and Regional Commissioner for Northland. She also held senior roles in the wider public sector, including Statutory Deputy State Services Commissioner. Debbie’s evidence included an overview of the role and functions of the Ministry that are relevant to this stage of the Inquiry.
